Pakistan and West Indies are set to meet in a T20I series again this year after Pakistan won the previous series 1-0 where three matches were abandoned earlier in July-August in West Indies. This time the two teams will clash in a three-match series which will be held in Karachi, Pakistan. West Indies last toured the Asian country in 2018 when they were blanked 0-3.

Pakistan, the semi-finalists of the T20 World Cup, are in supreme form in the shortest international format in 2021. They have won the most matches among all other teams this year and also whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 at the latter’s backyard just after the completion of the World Cup. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are in excellent form with the bat and they both have carried the team almost on their own in T20Is this year.

On the other hand, the 2012 and 2016 T20 World Cup champions, West Indies, had a disastrous World Cup as they only managed to win a single game out of five in the Super 12. After a poor showing in the mega event, the Caribbean side would look to bounce back by winning the series while the hosts will hope to continue their superb T20I form.

Meanwhile, here are the important stats and numbers ahead of Pakistan vs West Indies T20I series:
