More than this big loss, it was the injuries that were suffered by the Pakistan players is demoralizing the spirit of the team. Skipper Bismah Maroof was hit on the face during the practice session on the eve of first ODI that ruled her out of the game. She, however, is expected to get fit and lead the team in the second ODI.
During the first match, Nahida Khan was struck on the grill of her helmet while playing a pull shot. She was later stretched off the field and is doubtful for the second ODI. The stand-in skipper Javeria Khan suffered cramps and was forced to retire hurt but is expected to be fit for the coming game. She resumed her innings and finished as 2nd highest scorer for Pakistan with 21. Pacer Aiman Anwer too suffered a hamstring injury after bowling only five overs.

Aiman Anwer – Suffered hamstring injury. Might not play the second ODI.
Deandra Dottin is back to the opening role in the ODI format after ten years. This will increase her efficiency and impact in the game as she bowls a good number of overs too. Whoever does not pick her as captain or at least vice-captain could end up making a losing fantasy team.
Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:
Batting in the top three and chances of bowling full ten overs make a case of picking Stafanie Taylor and Deandra Dottin as captain and vice-captain. Other than these two, Javeria Khan, Bismah Maroof, Nida Dar, Afy Fletcher and Sana Mir can be considered for the multiplier roles.
Suggested Playing XI No.1 for Fantasy Cricket:
Keeper – Sadra Nawaz

With Deandra Dottin opening and Stafanie Taylor batting at No.3, the duo will be first preferred among the all-rounders. One among Nida Dar, Kainat Imtiaz and Aliya Riaz will be the 3rd pick from all-rounders category.
Windies Women are expected to continue their domination in the ODI series against an injury-hit Pakistan team.
