Parthiv Patel urges to ignore unusual activities after his Instagram account gets hacked

In the latest, former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel’s Instagram page has been hacked. The southpaw confirmed the same with a post on Twitter. Some unusual activities were seen on Parthiv’s Instagram page on Sunday (October 17). Pictures of some random people were uploaded in quick succession. With Patel being one of the renowned cricket personalities in India, the unusual activities became a talking point.

However, Parthiv was quick to reveal that his Instagram account has been hacked. He also urged netizens to ignore any unusual activity or messages from the account till the time it’s restored. Meanwhile, before these unusual updates, the former wicketkeeper-batter’s last Instagram post is dated October 8. However, he had posted some updates on his Instagram stories. On Saturday (October 16), Parthiv shared a clip of former West Indies cricketer Brian Lara enjoying a meal. Hence, his account was hacked on Sunday.

Nevertheless, Patel was quick to reveal the happenings in order to avoid any nuisance. “Please note that my Instagram account has been hacked and I am unable to access it! Please ignore any unusual activity or messages from the account till we confirm that it is restored! @instagram,” he tweeted.

Patel was recently the part of Star Sports’ commentary panel in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL). His analysis and explanations were lauded by one and all. Parthiv was also pretty active on social media in these times. With the T20 World Cup 2021 being underway, the former cricketer would continue expressing his views over the matches.

Meanwhile, Parthiv, one of the youngest to have played Test cricket for India at the age of 17, announced his retirement from all forms of the game in December last year, three months short of his 36th birthday. Although his international career wasn’t a long one, his record in domestic cricket is nothing but stupendous. The southpaw was an attacking batter who could play at various positions.

He was also a force to reckon with in the wicketkeeping department. Riding on his prowess, Gujarat clinched numerous matches over the years. He also proved his mettle in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
