PCB Chairman hints at changes after Bangladesh Debacle: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan hinted that there could be some huge changes in the national side. This comes after Pakistan’s debacle in the limited overs leg of the Bangladesh tour where they suffered a humiliating whitewash in the three match ODI series and an one-off T20 International.

During an inauguration ceremony of a cricket ground in Islamabad, Khan admitted that the current system in Pakistan cricket is flawed. He also said that the board is upset and disturbed after the performances, which he termed completely unacceptable.

Speaking to the media, Khan said There is a possibility of major changes in the team after the Bangladesh tour. We are disturbed and upset at what has happened. Winning and losing is part of sport but the way we lost to Bangladesh in the one-day matches and T20 is unacceptable.

He also hinted that new players might replace the senior players, who have had their time with the team. He said the senior players have given their best for Pakistan and it is time to move on

The entire Pakistan’s cricket fraternity, including former captains Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Rameez Raja, Inzamam ul Haq and Zaheer Abbas have expressed their anguish over the losses to Bangladesh and called for measures to improve things.

Miandad has described the recent defeats as the darkest day in Pakistan cricket history while Rameez Raja said that Pakistan cricket had reached its lowest point. There are some protests in Pakistan to sack their coach Waqar Younis after the debacle.
