Kevin Pietersen is not only known for his charismatic presence on the field but also for his antics off the field. Pietersen is a popular face among the twitter heads and often comes up with his witty takes on the other players.
It was his bromance on twitter with James Faulkner during the BBL this year that caught the attention of the cricket fans. KP made Faulkner his bunny and trolled him in many ways. Well, the tournament came to an end and here begins the IPL showdown.
It seems that Pietersen has found a new bunny this season in Steve Smith, the Australian skipper. He and Steve Smith were clicked together recently in a media shoot. While KP wore his usual T-shirt and shorts, Steve Smith donned a vest and shorts. The pic went viral and in no time one of the fans mocked Smith saying he had an awful taste in clothes. He tweeted:
You might be a great batsman @stevesmith49 but you have an awful taste in clothes! @KP24 pic.twitter.com/jeSnPSqhHe

KP, was quick to spot the tweet and decided to troll the Aussie skipper. KP re-tweeted with a witty one-liner.
Have a word, Aussies? He's YOUR captain representing YOUR country! @Stevesmith49 https://t.co/yFwjQrRfmE

The best part was yet to come, though. It was David Warner, the Australian dressing room partner of Steve Smith, who decided to join hands with KP and pull the legs of his Aussie skipper. Warner re-tweeted and mocked the dressing style of Steve Smith.
Bahahahahhahahahahhahahhahahaha. Did he choose that @KP24 https://t.co/GPsUjtbCFc

Well, this is the beauty of the game. The T20 leagues have brought the players so close and made them ever so friendly. They might look like stiff and fierce opponents on the field but share a great camaraderie off the field.
