KL Rahul will be captaining an IPL side for the first time

KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are said to be very close friends. Last year, both of them were suspended by BCCI over their comments on a talk show. However, it seems like the incident hasn’t changed anything about their friendship as both can be seen as reacting to each other’s posts on social media. Indian cricket fans will be incredibly fascinated if the newborn could become fast-bowling all-rounder like his father as there is always a scarcity of them.

Cricket will be seen in action again with IPL is going to kick off on 19th September. Pandya brothers will be representing Mumbai Indians the defending champions.

This year is going to be different for KL Rahul as for the first time he will be captaining an IPL franchise, the Karnataka lad has been assigned to lead Kings XI Punjab, the team which hasn’t won any IPL title yet. It will be interesting to see how well he performs as a skipper also how his batting will be affected by additional burden. The stumper has been in great form lately and Punjab’s batting depends a lot on its skipper.
