Pragyan Ojha suffers a head injury due to bad bounce

India Green’s left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha had to be rushed to the hospital after he inflicted a freak blow to his head while fielding during the final day of the Duleep Trophy match between India Blue and India Green.

The incident happened in the 63rd over of the second innings when India Blue tail-ender Pankaj Singh thwacked a full delivery towards mid-on where Ojha was standing. The 30 ear made no mistake a was in perfect position to collect the ball but the ball viciously jumped off the surface and hit him on the head unexpectedly.

Ojha was quickly down on the ground and had to be taken out off the field on a stretcher. Later, Ojha returned to normal after undergoing a CT scan at the hospital. A team official later stated that although cricketer was grieving in pain but had lost consciousness and his heartbeat was perfectly normal.

The facility at the venue as good and an ambulance was readily available to take the player to the medical facility. Talking about the game which is ongoing, India Blue clearly seems to on the drivers east and have booked a place in the final.

After winning the toss, they first tired out the India Green bowler, racking up 707 in the first innings. Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara and Sheldon Jackson struck mighty centuries.

India Green was not able to give a solid reply and could manage only 237 batting second giving a huge 470 run lead. The India Blue side decided to add on the lead and batted again to pile an additional 298 to the lead and set a massive 769 runs. India Green are currently batting at 38/1 after 10 overs.
