Young Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw will be leading the India U19 team in the upcoming tour to England. He will lead the side in the five one-day fixtures on the tour. Prior to the limited overs action, the Indian U19 team will play two four-day matches as well. Haryana batsman Himanshu Rana has been named as the captain of the team in the four-day fixtures.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India released a press statement on Friday wherein they announced the squads for the tour in both formats of the game. The tour will commence on July 19 with the Indian colts playing a warm-up match which will be a two-day game. The first four-day match will be played at Chesterfield commencing on July 23. The second and the final four-day game will be played at the venue in Worcester from July 31.
