Prithvi Shaw wishes Suryakumar Yadav his 31st in a unique style

Suryakumar Yadav has turned many heads with his performances in the IPL over the years. On his debut for India as well, he displayed his sheer flair by his impressive and consistent performances with the willow. As the batter celebrates his birthday today, the cricketing fraternity is pouring in wishes for him. However, amongst all the birthday posts for Yadav, one that stood out was that of Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw.

On Suryakumar Yadav’s special day, Shaw decided to post a humorous photograph of his teammate. A gender swap filter was used on the picture that seemed to have grabbed everybody’s attention.

Prithvi Shaw Shares a funny image on Suryakumar Yadav’s birthday

Shaw took it to his official Instagram account to wish Suryakumar Yadav. He put an Instagram story wherein he posted the funny picture of Yadav and wrote: “Happy birthday, Suryakumar Yadav.” He also added a few emojis in the caption. Shaw and Yadav share a very good bond. The two batters are often seen posting hilarious videos together that keep entertaining their fans and followers.

During the England-India Test series, the duo mimicked a scene from the 1993 Bollywood thriller Baazigar. Shaw and Yadav recreated a hilarious scene by Jonny Lever and Dinesh Hingoo from the movie wherein the duo laughed hilariously one after another. Before this, they also enacted a scene from the movie Andaz Apna Apna in an Instagram video.

ICC also extended their warm wishes to Suryakumar Yadav 

The International Cricket Council took it to their official Twitter account to wish Yadav. ICC shared a picture of the batter in the Indian jersey and captioned the Tweet as: “SKY’s the limit! Happy birthday to Indian star Suryakumar Yadav.”

Suryakumar Yadav found his place in the T20 World Cup squad which was recently announced by the BCCI. Thus, ICC also asked the fans about their opinions on Yadav’s performance in the upcoming World Cup. “How much of a say will he have at the #T20WorldCup?” ICC further wrote.

Yadav was last seen in action during the white-ball series against Sri Lanka earlier this year. He then flew to England to be a part of the Indian side for the five-match Test series. Ahead of the mega event of the T20 World Cup, he will be seen taking the charge of the ground for the Mumbai Indians in the second leg of the IPL which is set to commence from September 19.
