Preview:

The Flying Oryx had a mixed start to the tournament winning the opening match by chasing down 84 but couldn’t defend their total of 95 in the second match. Their batting collapsed on Monday where they lost wickets in a flurry. They will now be up against Heat Stormers on Tuesday who played only one match thus far. The Stormers played their first game on Sunday night where they became the 1st side to touch 100-run mark in the Qatar T10 League history. However, the happiness didn’t last long as they lost the match on the very last ball. Salman Butt hit a six on the last ball to seal the match for Falcon Hunters.

Weather Condition/Report:

The weather forecast for West End Park Stadium suggests showers and thunderstorm during the match. However, same was forecasted on Monday but none of the matches got affected.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The change in the approach of the players in the tournament was clearly visible on Monday where 226 runs were aggregated in the night match despite the pitch was a tricky one. Kamran Akmal, interestingly, elected to bat first as aimed to post a 110+ total. They finished with 116 and won by 6 runs in the end. With new pitch going to be used from Tuesday, we could see totals even touching 120 and getting chased down as well.
