'Quickly made everything private' - Jofra Archer shuts down a Twitter user; Ben Stokes reacts

Jofra Archer is one of the gifted players for the English team. He was exceptional in the 2019 World Cup and also showed glimpses of his brilliance in Ashes last year. The Barbadian, who moved to England in 2015 to pursue his career with England cricket team, has been in news since his induction into the team.

Jofra has dealt with serious racism issues of late. There have been trolls who are involved in continuously heckling the English speedster. His English teammates have always stood by his side. Moeen Ali recently condemned the racism faced by Archer by claiming that Jofra receives very bad messages and added that all social media accounts should have name and image on it.

Ben Stokes lauds Jofra Archer for exposing a troll

Recently, Jofra Archer was granted the opportunity to lead the English outfit out of the dressing room in the first Test against Pakistan on the 5th of August. The English fast bowler got this opportunity as a part of the #BlackLivesMatter initiative. His fans greeted this gesture with great accords, but a troll came up with the sound of negativity.

A troller named Oliver Rounding reacted to the gesture and said that it is worse to see Jofra leading the side out. “So every time somebody gets abused online they should get the team out? That’s what I meant by it getting silly. Honestly think him leading the team out makes it worse,” he tweeted.

Jofra was quick to react to Oliver and said that people like him can’t ruin it. “I’ll let you know right now Oliver, today was a special day and people like you won’t ruin it,” Arched responded.

Ben Stokes also came in support of the Barbadian and commended him on exposing the troll. “Kudos to Jofra for exposing him, quickly made everything private,” Stokes tweeted.

The England bowler is also a part of Rajasthan Royals outfit in IPL after getting picked for a hefty amount in the 2018 IPL Auction. and there was no looking back for him since then. He has been continuously giving good performances and winning accolades from the cricketing fraternity. Meanwhile, Pakistan holds the upper edge in the ongoing first Test against the home team.
