The couple has been together since 2012 when Quinton de Kock first met his future wife during a CLT20 match between Highveld Lions (de Kock’s team) and Mumbai Indians.

The match proved to be a life-changing one for de Kock as the shy cricketer lost his heart to one of the cheerleaders during the match – Sasha Hurly. The lady was quite charmed by the talented left-hander and approached after the match to congratulate on his knock (he made 51 that game).

This fact that both were dating came to public’s knowledge after de Kock spoke about this whole story during an interview with a newspaper.

“After the game, she came up and congratulated me. Later, I thanked her back over Facebook. As we started talking, it just clicked. I didn’t think it could start on the field,” de Kock told Hindustan Times.

The bond between Hurly and de Kock, which only got stronger and stronger thereafter, has now eventually taken the couple into a whole new delightful phase of life.

The South African cricket team after partying in Mauritius will head straight back to home to hosts Ireland and Australia for limited overs series which will begin later this month.
