Rajasthan rounded off one of their most scintillating Ranji Trophy campaigns of all time in style and finished with a whopping 51 points in Elite Group C. After bowling out Tripura for a paltry 35 runs, Rajasthan registered 218 runs on board. Tripura once again surrendered badly and could score just 106 runs, eventually helping the North-Indian side win by an innings and 77 runs.

Anmolpreet Singh registered a sturdy hundred as Punjab took a huge first innings lead against Bengal. With Shubman Gill once again giving them a power-packed start, Punjab finished with 357 runs on board losing seven wickets. They currently lead by 170 runs and will be batting for another session or two on Day 3.

Baroda just about got out of jail in their clash against Karnataka, which culminated inside two days. Karnataka were trailing by 111 runs before their second innings started and could only manage 220 runs in reply. Chasing 110 runs, Baroda just about crawled past the finish line and won the contest by 2 wickets.

Railways emerged victorious against a much stronger team in Maharashtra quite emphatically in their Group A clash in Delhi. Railways scored 259 runs in reply to Maharashtra’s 70-run first innings tally. Avinash Yadav and Harsh Tyagi romped through their batting lineups once again in their second innings, helping Railways win by an innings and 58 runs.
