Jonny Bairstow is the perfect example of “Brute Strength”. The hard hitter from Yorkshire has a reputation of being explosive. He is one of the few players who can hit both, the pacers as well as the spinners.

The English wicketkeeper has scored 1337 T20I runs in 60 T20I innings. He has an average and strike rate of 27.85 and 136.42 respectively in the shortest format of the game. He has also hit 57 sixes in this format.

An important point to be noted is that he doesn’t have a fixed batting position and fluctuates according to the situation. Sometimes you see him as an opener and sometimes you would see him batting at 4. Despite this, the hard hitter from England has been one of the most destructive T20I players of late.
