Rejoice ardent cricket fans, the wait for one of the most anticipated strategy games, is over as Rario’s Cricket Strategy Game was launched on the 25th of August 2022, a week ahead of the ongoing tenth edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which commenced on the 31st of August. It is the world’s first officially-licensed player cards platform game, played using Rario’s Player Cards.

And if you haven't already heard all the buzz about the Rario's officially licensed player cards, let's take you to a quick recap of things. The player cards are a unique boon for cricket fans around the globe as they have got an opportunity to own some of the most iconic players and moments from the game through the pack drops on Rario's website.

But that is not all, the cards are of much more value than just being a unique collectible. The various tiers of cards acquired from the drops can be used to participate in Rario’s Cricket Strategy Game — D3. And with the game launched recently, let's take you through the rules and gameplay of the much-anticipated game.

To participate in the contests, you need to own Rario Player Cards, irrespective of the tier of the cards, which will be used to create a team of three players.

Card 1 — Designated batter. You can also utilize a wicketkeeper or an allrounder as a batter for your team.

Card 2 — Designated bowler. You can utilize an allrounder as a bowler or can use a frontline bowler for your team.

Card 3 — Any Player. This card can be either a batter or a wicket-Keeper or an allrounder or a bowler, depending on your strategy.

You can use any combination of cards you deem fit for your strategy, but if you want to score the maximum desired points, then you need to pay attention to the three key factors, which decide the points tally of a D3 team.

The Base Score

The Base Score of a card on your team will be calculated on the basis of that particular player's performance in the match. The number of runs scored, boundaries hit, wickets taken, runouts affected, catches grasped, and so on from the player will be factored into his base score for that match.

Tier Boost

Now you must be aware of the tier of the Player Card that you are using (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or a Black card) the higher tier cards will amplify your scores, providing a boost to the player's base score.

XP Boost

The XP Boost is a boost upgrade that gets accumulated on the player card every time you use it to participate in a contest. The more you use a particular card, the higher will be the boost to the team after each contest. Every new Player Card that you procure begins from 0 XP and has a ceiling on the maximum XP that it can reach.

What are you waiting for? Head to Rario's website and get your hands on the elusive pack drops to gear up for the exciting game with Prizes up to $125K (₹1CR) up for grabs during the ongoing CPL 2022 tournament.
