A chance for fans to own their favourite sporting moments

Rario, a digital collectables platform that gives a chance to die-hard cricket fans to own their favourite sporting moments in form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), has come up with a SuperFan contest where the brand has requested the passionate cricket fans to share their favourite on-field moments in Australia in the comments section using #RariOz.

The winners of the contest will stand a chance to win tickets to catch the blockbuster cricketing events that are scheduled to take place down under, including the mega events in Australia later this year from October 16 to November 13. All that the fans need to do in order to get additional information is to express their interests by registering at nft.cricket.com.au or rario.com.

Some of the memorable moments of the Australian cricketers include Ellyse Perry’s shot and reaction after completing a double century against arch-rivals England in the Ashes and Steve Waugh’s historic boundary in the SCG Test in 2003, which helped him in equalling Don Bradman’s record of 29 centuries.

Recently, Rario signed an official licensing deal with Cricket Australia (CA) and the Australian Cricketers’ Association that will see digital collectible cricket NFTs from Australian cricket and play-to-earn virtual gaming made accessible to over one billion cricket fans globally.

Rario signs multi-year deal with CA and ACA

Meanwhile, the multi-year exclusive CA/ACA partnership with Rario will encourage a new form of fan engagement while introducing the cricket NFTs to the fans by making use of the eco-friendly blockchain technology. The partnership will support the growth of the game along with supporting past and present players through their historic achievements being featured in NFT moments.

Rario, creators of the world’s first Cricket NFT platform, will now help Australian cricket fans understand, collect, and engage with cricket NFTs by creating an Australian cricket metaverse of collectibles and gaming. Traditionally collectibles have only featured still images, whereas NFTs can also show the full story of a sporting moment by featuring officially licensed broadcast vision.

All the memorable cricketing moments can now be captured in full action for digital trading cards and memorabilia that fans can own and trade exclusively. The aim of this joint venture is to connect over a billion fans across the globe with cricket NFTs.
