Virat Kohli is known for his cricketing acrobatics on the field, may it be with the bat or on the field. He is currently in England and is raking runs at will in the conditions when every other batter has failed to stamp his authority. Until Jos Buttler, he was the only centurion in the three Tests and is way ahead when it comes to the superiority. However, in a promotional post on social media, he challenged Rashid Khan among many others to take some quirky catches and the Afghanistan leg-spinner has accepted it.

Rashid, after shining in the T20 Blast for Sussex, is torturing the Ireland batsmen in the ongoing T20I series. He has been very tough to get away for them and has picked seven wickets so far only in a couple of matches. His team has already won the series and no wonder they would be looking to clean sweep Ireland in order to have an upper hand on them before the ODI series begins on Monday.

Kohli’s different challenge

Virat Kohli, on Thursday, posted a video of him taking some hilarious catches in the ground while promoting PUMA brand. He urged the fans also to try it out while the Indian captain also challenged Faf du Plessis, Shakib Al Hasan, Herschelle Gibbs, KL Rahul, Jonty Rhodes and Aditya Tare apart from Rashid Khan.

Rashid, however, was the first one to take up the challenge and assured him of trying to take some of the quirkiest catches. Moreover, the leggie was kind enough to accept that it will be difficult for him to beat the champion cricketer but was still ready to try. “I’m up for challenge @imVkohli Bhai .Cant beat you but will try our best,” he responded while accepting the challenge.

Rashid will be featuring in the third T20 and final T20 International against Ireland at Bready Cricket Club in the northern part of the host country.
