Afghanistan’s spin wizard Rashid Khan is a known personality on social media and enjoys a massive fan following. The Afghan vice-captain hosted an interactive Question and Answer (Q & A) session on his official Instagram handle. During the interaction, Rashid was flooded with questions from the fans regarding his personal and professional life.

The leg-spinner answered a few selected questions on his Instagram handle relating to his daily, routine and cricket career. One of the highlights of the Q & A session was when the 22-year-old was asked to describe cricket legends like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Babar Azam, Yuvraj Singh, and MS Dhoni in one word. The leg-spinner answered a few selected questions on his Instagram handle

Notably, Rashid has featured against all the superstars in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL). When asked to describe the current Indian captain Kohli in one word, Rashid wrote King. Further, he defined AB, Babar, and Yuvraj as Mr 360, Pure Class, and King of Sixes respectively.

Meanwhile, it was the answer for former Indian skipper MS Dhoni that stole all the thunder. When a user requested Rashid to say one word for Dhoni, the leg-spinner reckoned that just one word isn’t enough for the legendary cricketer.

I am afraid it might affect my performance for the team: Rashid Khan

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced Hasmatullah Shahidi as the Afghan skipper for ODIs and Tests, while Rashid Khan has been appointed as the deputy in the shortest format (T20Is). The name of the T20I skipper is yet to be revealed and Rashid Khan is a strong contender for the same.

However, the leg-spinner doesn’t fancy the idea of leading the team as he believes that it can affect his performance. As of now, Rashid’s entire focus is on playing well for the team in the upcoming World Cups. As many as three World Cups are scheduled in the future.

“I want to do well for the team as a player and my performance is a bit more crucial for the team rather than me thinking about different things being a captain. Also, it takes time, and right now the most important thing is the World Cup which is quite near and I feel it is too much for me to have

“I am afraid it might affect my performance for the team, which is a key, so I am very happy as a player. Whatever decision the board and selection committee make, I am fully behind it and will appreciate it,” said Rashid Khan as quoted by ESPNcricinfo
