Indian ace off-spinner Ravi Ashwin has been busy with getting his rhythm right as he prepares for the challenge of the Bangladesh team in the upcoming two-Test series with the first of the matches to be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from November 14. This will be the first time the Tigers will be playing more than a single Test against India in India.

The last time Bangladesh played in India in 2017, the first time they visited the country for the longest format game, India decimated them thanks to a double ton from Virat Kohli and centuries from Pujara and Saha. But a heartening thing for the Blue Army is that Ashwin found his form against South Africa with a seven-fer in the first Test in Vizag.

Ravi Ashwin starts a Twitter Q&A session

Recently the Tamil Nadu player took to Twitter and held a question and answer session with his fans and answered some really interesting queries ranging from his personal preferences to his likes and dislikes on and off the field. Apart from this, he also answered questions about how he is preparing for the upcoming series against the Bangladesh Tigers.

A fan, however, asked Ashwin what he did with his first salary ever. “sir what did you do with your first salary? #AskAsh”, was the query. To this, the ace spinner had a very simple answer, which is the norm in most of the country. Ashwin replied, “I gave it to my mom..”.

Meanwhile, also during the Q&A session, his wife Prithi Narayanan too chimed in with a query regarding what was her husband’s plans for their upcoming wedding anniversary. The couple was bonded in the wedding bliss on November 13, 2011, and Prithi asked, “wedding anniversary plans tell now #AskAsh #ThatThatManThatThatProblem” To which Ashwin replied, “See you in Indore”

The off-spinner has made a triumphant return to the Indian team given his amazing record of 357 wickets in 68 Test matches at an average 25.43. The Tamil Nadu tweaker recently played in the Deodhar Trophy for India A and is currently polishing his skills for the upcoming Indore Test match.
