A lot will be at stake when Team India take on England in the fourth and final Test of the ongoing series. While India have taken an unassailable lead in the four-match series, they still have a lot to do to achieve their ultimate goal. The upcoming game will give Virat Kohli & Co. a chance to win the series as well as seal a spot in the ICC World Test Championship final.
Currently leading the series by 2-1, India just need to draw the final Test to win the series as well as book a mouthwatering clash with New Zealand in the WTC final. The momentum will be with the hosts after their thumping wins in the second and third Test. After winning the second game by 317 runs, India won the third Test by ten wickets inside two days.
Ravi Shastri’s response to meme:
Following two thumping wins in the ongoing series, the spirits are high in the Indian camp and it was proved by head coach Ravi Shastri on Saturday. The former India all-rounder left the fans surprised with his sporting response to a meme on social media. Time and again one has seen the fans using Shastri’s photos, comments as well as his love for drinks to make memes.
And a similar meme is doing the rounds in the wake of India’s win in the third Test in Ahmedabad. And with Gujarat being a dry state, India’s win inside two days has made the fans come up with several hilarious memes. One of the memes show that India finished the game quickly only to avoid staying in the dry state for long.
A similar meme was shared on Twitter by journalist Shobha De. She even tagged Shastri in her tweet and wrote: ‘Smart’. And to everyone’s surprise, Shastri not only reacted to the tweet but did it in a sporting manner as he wrote: “Love the banter ! Feels good to bring some smiles in these tough times.”
