Ravindra Jadeja gives his daughter a never heard before name

Ravindra Jadeja has recently become a father when his wife gave birth to a baby girl. The Indian all rounder who was in England at the time but he was on cloud nine as he took to Twitter to announce the name of his daughter and his “bundle of joy and little princess”. Team India played South Africa yesterday and it is not before Thursday that they take the field again. Jaddu probably stole time out from his schedule to make a quick visit back home.
Though he missed his childbirth, the Dad was there to decide the name for his princess. Jadeja announced her name on Twitter “We have named our bundle of joy and little princess “Nidhyana’” he wrote. An image of the Rajput boy soon floated on social media where he is all beaming in his smile while the little one who is yet to get used to this world is busy sleeping.

Jadeja in Champions Trophy
Jadeja hasn’t exactly lit up the tournament with his performances having picked up three wickets and hasn’t got a lot of opportunities to bat either. However, he will be hoping to turn things around when India take on neighbours Bangladesh in the semifinal on Thursday.
Bangladesh anchored a well-crafted match to enter the semi-finals upsetting one of the favourites New Zealand. They have improved in leaps and bounds over the past couple of years and will be eyeing their first ICC title in England. But first, they will have to go through the defending champions India who had a clinical victory against South Africa to qualify for the semis.
Jaddu’s partner Ravichandran Ashwin made a comeback into the scheme of things when he made the playing XI against the Proteas and suffocated them being miserly with the runs. And Jadeja always seems to bowl well with Ashwin at the other end.
Team India will be hoping the spin duo will come up with a riveting performance to take the side home. Underestimating the Bangladesh team has cost many sides dearly, especially in ICC tournaments. The Indian team will know how dangerous and unpredictable Bangladesh can be and will be looking to avoid any surprises.
Overall, the team looks ready. The batsmen seem to be in prime form and the fast bowlers have rarely looked better. Now, it will be a question of which team will keep their composure and not letting the situation get ahead of themselves come Thursday.
