With the promotional work for the MS Dhoni biopic almost over, the film is all set to be released. While the millions of his fans brace themselves for the release of the movie, S Sreesanth, a former Indian pacer who played under the captaincy of Dhoni at one point too cannot wait for the release of the movie.
Sreesanth was a part of the Indian team that clinched the inaugural edition of the World T20 under the watchful eyes of MS Dhoni in South Africa. In spite of being somewhat of a disgraced bowler in recent times, Sreesanth will always be remembered for the catch he took at fine leg to dismiss Misbah-ul-Haq. The Kerala-based pacer was also a part of the 2011 Indian team that won the World Cup.
Although his pace significantly dropped over the years, Sreesanth was always known to stir up the batsmen with the Andre Nel incident in Cape Town something that will always linger in the minds of those who oppose sledging.

Speaking about the biopic, Sreesanth said that he was one of the most excited fans who awaited the movie’s release. “I am really excited to watch Dhoni’s biopic as he is a great captain. Certainly, there is a wonderful story to share. I would love to watch it,” he said at the “Days of Tafree” premiere.
“I feel fortunate as I was a part of the 2007 World Cup as well as the 2011 World Cup team. I really want to see what is in the movie and how it has been shown,” he added. About the film’s lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Sreesanth said: “I did speak to Sushant during a couple of training sessions. He said ‘You should watch it. There are a lot of surprises’. I am definitely looking forward to the biopic.”
