One of the major finds for India in 2017 season is wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who marched into the limited overs side coming from the quarters of Kohli-led RCB side and with selectors losing faith in finger-spinning options of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

The puny statured Chahal announced himself on the International stage with his spell against England in the deciding 3rd T20I at his adopted home ground in Bengaluru, where he picked up a whopping 6 for 25, thereby, stunning the English side.

With the start he obtained in International cricket, Chahal was introduced into the ODI format and in tandem with Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, India now has a potent wrist-spinning attack at their disposal.

Chahal already has clinched 15 wickets in the 8 T20I matches he has played so far. With as many as 4 games in hand for India this year, the rookie might become the leading wicket-taker of T20Is in the calendar year of 2017.
