Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan has been elected as the Prime Minister of the country as the results of the general elections came out on Thursday. The nation is delighted that the baton is handed over to a promising candidate and Imran is expected to work towards the betterment of Pakistan. However, his ex-wife Reham Khan has been targeted by the Twitterati as she had vocally supported the opposition party Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the elections.

Moreover, Reham had also revealed shocking allegations in her self-titled book which was recently released. In the book, she had alleged Imran of having illegitimate kids in India and also claimed that he used to revisit his fantasies in the eighties. Even the former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram had served her a legal notice for maligning his reputation in the book.

Imran Khan was busy listening to the World Cup 1992 theme song after casting his vote on Wednesday, his ex-wife Reham Khan had tweeted a picture of her supporting his opposite party. As it turned out, the World Cup-winning Pakistan skipper came out with flying colours in the elections and is set to become the Prime Minister of the country.

As soon as the results were out and it was clear that he will be crowned at the helm, the people started trolling Reham over her witty tweet after voting the other day. They were unimpressed with her releasing her controversial book ahead of the elections and also claiming of her receiving death threats.

Her tweet didn’t go down well with many of Imran’s fans as they lashed out at her, while many poked fun at her after their leader won in style. Imran Khan is now expected to work towards the betterment of the country and has already expressed his desire to strengthen the relations with the neighbouring country.
