Responding to former India opener Virender Sehwag’s remark on King Pair, England pacer James Anderson has vowed to fight back. Sehwag leaves no opportunity to make fun of others and when he saw a chance to mock James Anderson, he did it in his usual style, trolling the England pacer with a hilarious tweet. Anderson found himself becoming the subject of the troll after he pocketed a King Pair in the 2nd Test against India at Vizag. King pair is a term used when a batsman gets out off the 1st ball in both innings of Test match.
The ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ had written on his Twitter handle recalling how the English speedster dismissed him in 2011 for King pair and termed the latter’s dismissal as ‘Karma Bites’. “Jimmy Anderson made me pay tribute to Aryabhatta by getting me out for a King pair in 2011. Today, he too got a King pair.#KarmaBites,” wrote Sehwag.
Though Anderson did not try to get engaged in twitter banter with Sehwag like his countryman Piers Morgan does always, but he surely had a response, tweeting that his team will surely fight back in the next Test. “Result & king pair aside, I loved being back out there with the boys. Lots of cricket still be played in this series. We’ll fight back,” wrote Anderson on his Twitter handle.

This is how former Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist reacted to Jimmy Anderson’s King Pair.

India-England will now lock horns from November 26 at Mohali for the third Test match. Mohali pitches are known to be favouring seamers, thus Anderson would be eager to settle scores with Indian batsmen there.
