Even though Coronavirus has stopped all the kinds of cricket across the globe, players are enjoying their quarantine time. Many cricketers are spending time with their families which otherwise they wouldn’t due to their hectic cricketing schedule. On the other hand, other cricketers are spending time interacting with their fans on social media.

On Thursday, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen decided to take the interaction on social media to another level. He invited Indian batsman Rohit Sharma to attend a live chat on Instagram with him with an intention of interviewing the latter. The live chat and the conversation between these two legends was absolutely fantastic to witness for any fan.

However, there was another legend who was witnessing all of this, sitting at his own home. Former South African and current Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman AB de Villiers decided to add a few funny comments during the live session.

In a series of screenshots uploaded by a fan on Twitter, we can see that AB de Villiers was watching the entire live session and also took at his compatriots with his comments. One of the screenshots shows de Villiers terming both Rohit Sharma and Kevin Pietersen “Two legends” of the game.

In another screenshot, AB de Villiers asking “so I am not your favourite cricketer” to Rohit and Pietersen. Another comment shows the Proteas legend revealing how Rohit sledges him all the time. And before ending the series of comments, De Villiers didn’t forget to take a dig at his RCB teammate Yuzvendra Chahal who is also known to tease Rohit time and again.

Here are his comments:

If the IPL had been conducted as planned, AB de Villiers would have been playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore at this moment in the tournament. However, as it turns out, he is back in his home in South Africa spending quarantine time. He seems to make the most out of it by posting comments on his friends’ and colleagues’ profiles on social media.

All three cricketers share a good bond between themselves. Kevin Pietersen and AB de Villiers both have been close friends for a very long time. The Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma has also shared a good bond with these two legends.
