Team India completed a dominant show over the West Indies after winning the five-match T20I series by a margin of 4-1. The Men in Blue were a better team in all three departments of the game as they completely outplayed the home team not only in T20Is but the ODI fixtures as well.

Meanwhile, team India skipper Rohit Sharma gave an inspiring speech to his players after the Men in Blue won the fifth T20I match against the Men in Maroon at Lauderhill on August 7 (Sunday). Rohit emphasized the fact that individual brilliance is good, but combined team efforts will give them more consistent results.

It takes a lot to understand what a team requires at every point in time: Rohit Sharma

“It takes a lot to change a game, it takes a lot to understand what a team requires at every point in time. For me, individual brilliance is good, but those little efforts from all of us are what will give us more results, consistently. That is what we are looking for,” Rohit was quoted as saying by India Today.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, team India has been performing brilliantly in the limited-overs formats. The Men in Blue have defeated New Zealand, West Indies, and England under the captaincy of Rohit and will want to continue their good performance in the upcoming matches as well.

Team India will now take on Zimbabwe in a limited-over series, before traveling to UAE for participating in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup where they will play their first match against arch-rivals Pakistan. The Men in Green had handed a defeat to team India when they last met in the 2021 T20 World Cup and the Men in Blue will want to settle the scores with Pakistan. After the Asia Cup, team India will focus on the upcoming T20 World Cup where they will face Pakistan yet again.
