Rohit Sharma leaves a special birthday message for Yuvraj

Team India batsman Rohit Sharma took to social media site Twitter recently to come up with a double edged tweet. The stylish Indian opener wrote a tweet to wish his teammate Yuvraj Singh a very happy birthday. Also, in the tweet, he revealed that it was Yuvraj who had predicted Rohit’s wedding 9 years ago.

Talismanic Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh turned 35 today. Wishes came in flooding from his fans from all corners of the world. The cricket fraternity was not far behind in wishing Yuvi a very blessed birthday. Interestingly, this is his first birthday since he got married. The southpaw got hitched to Bollywood actress Hazel Keech a week ago. Surely, he will have planned his special day to spend with his lady love and the loved ones.

Meanwhile, Rohit who had hit the chords of wedding last year wished his Brotherman in a unique style. The bond between Yuvraj and Rohit is a very close one. Apparently, both have immense respect for one another on the field and share camaraderie off the field as well. Rohit often calls Yuvraj as ‘brothaman’. In his birthday wish tweet, Rohit called Yuvraj Nostradamus. He decided to give this name to Yuvraj because it was Yuvi who had predicted that Rohit will marry Ritika Sajdeh 9 years ago.

Rohit Sharma dated Ritika for a long time before the two lovebirds tied the knot towards the end of last year. Rohit further wished for a brilliant year for the left-handed batsman. He wrote, “Happy birthday @YUVSTRONG12 my  Nostradamus who predicted I’d marry @ritssajdeh 9 years ago. May this year be the best one yet Brothaman.”

Both Yuvi and Rohit made grand statements in the inaugural World T20 2007. While it was the first time Rohit announced himself on the grand stage, Yuvraj took the world by storm with his six sixes in an over. The two have come a long way since then in their friendship and brotherhood bond.
