As part of a team bonding session, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma played a fun leisure game with his teammates Dewald Brevis, Basil Thampi, Aryan Juyal, and two other members of the MI contingent. Captain Rohit outlasted all of his opponents and won in the end.

The game was pretty simple. The players had to catch the ball thrown at them, but the throwers had to try and fake it while throwing it. Elimination was achieved whenever any player made a false response or lost a catch.

The game included six players in total and was played in five rounds of which Rohit Sharma won three rounds to dismiss three different players and emerge victoriously. Sharma shared a video of the fun activity on his social media handle and gave the fans a glimpse of the exciting game as he captioned it: “Top guys but rather flinchy @aryanjuyal_eleven @dewald_brevis_17 @saaaa1986 @basilthamby @nareshmedtiya”

Rohit Sharma’s form this season has been worrisome

Talking about the team’s performance in the IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians have already been knocked out of the playoffs race as they lost their first eight games consecutively and failed to get points on board. They won their recent encounter against the Rajasthan Royals to grab the first points in the league and open their account on the leaderboard.

Rohit Sharma has not been able to impress with the bat this season as his form has deteriorated. The Indian skipper, who turned 35 last week, has been able to score just 155 runs in the nine games that he has played so far, at a low average of 17.22 and a strike rate of 123.02. He is one of the top batters in the Indian contingent, but his form has not been supportive this year at the cash-rich event.

The positive sign in the Mumbai Indians camp is their middle-order batters, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav. The two have been consistent since their very first game this season, and have overcome all odds to put up a remarkable performance. Though most of their knocks went in vain as Mumbai could not manage to win many games, the duo have emerged as the most dependable players in the combination this year.
