Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and other Team India players enjoy dinner at Brian Lara’s home

Team India has had a great time in the West Indies. The unit captained by Virat Kohli has managed to emerge victorious in all the completed games on the tour. The Men in Blue slapped the Caribbean side with a 3-0 clean sweep in the T20I series. The visitors then rolled over Jason Holder and Co in the ODI series on the backs of a couple of thumping centuries from skipper Kohli.
Kohli’s men are next scheduled to lock horns with the hosts in a two-match Test series, which gets underway on Thursday, August 22 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua. It’s also the start of their campaign in the prestigious ICC World Test Championship, which has already begun with the ongoing Ashes and the series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Team India enjoying in the Caribbean Islands
Amidst all the hustles and bustles on the cricket field, the Indian team is having moments of fun as well in the Caribbean Islands. Ahead of the opening Test, the legendary Brian Lara hosted the Indian cricketers and the Windies players as well for dinner at his residence.
The likes of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted in the dinner party. The Indian players were earlier seen spending time on the beaches and boats in the West Indies and even when they were in the USA.
Among Windies cricketers, the likes of Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard and Universe Boss Chris Gayle also had a gala time at the southpaw’s home. Bravo posted a picture where he thanked Lara for the gesture and also called the Indian cricketers “his brothers from India”.
Bravo, who retired from international cricket last year, captioned the photo and wrote, “Thx to @brianlaraofficial for hosting us all at his residence..always great to catch up with my teammates and our brothers from India #Champion #WakeUp,”

Shikhar Dhawan also took it as a chance to post a picture with Lara. He captioned the picture and wrote. “Lefty aur lefty ka ultimate combo @brianlaraofficial,” he wrote. (The ultimate combo of a two left-handed batsmen).
