India and West Indies are all set to resume their rivalry in white-ball format. India will host West Indies for three T20Is and as many ODIs this month. The T20I series will kickstart the tour on December 6 in Hyderabad. Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai will host the next two T20Is on December 8 and 11 respectively before the ODIs take place.

But even before taking to the field, Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard have started taking shots at each other. The Mumbai Indians stars have made it clear that there will be no love between the two IPL teammates when they take the field for their respective national teams. But before you assume something else, let us tell you it is all part of a campaign.

Star Sports, the official broadcasters for the series, have come up with a brilliant promotion series to make the fans excited for the series. The series of advertisements named #FrenemiesAtPlay” started with Rohit ditching Pollard and driving away. It was then followed by some interesting action on Twitter as Pollard unfollowed Rohit before the latter reacted by posting a series of angry emojis.

Rohit Sharma has the last laugh

In the latest chapter of television campaign #FrenemiesAtPlay, Rohit Sharma sought his revenge against Pollard. In the previous video, Pollard had made Rohit’s sleep a nightmare by pestering the India opener with telephone calls very early in the morning. But Rohit had the last laugh in the exchange as he came up with a brilliant idea.

In the video, Rohit could be seen quietly slipping into Pollard’s room and executing his plan to irk his Mumbai Indian teammate. Unaware of what happened in his room, Pollard went to his bed only to realise that he was pranked. Pollard’s bed had squeeze duck toys all over to annoy him. The allrounder himself took to Twitter to post the video while writing:

“🤬🤬🤬THIS was the final straw, @ImRo45! #BrosBecomeFoes #INDvWI”
