The Indian team is having a gala time in Sri Lanka after clinching the Test series with a game left in hand. After their comprehensive victory at the SSC stadium over the hosts, WWE superstar The Great Khali took out time to visit the victorious team in the Island nation. The highly successful wrestler met all the individuals in the team and several cricketers posted the photos on their Twitter handles. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was delighted to meet Khali and captioned the pictures referring to Khali as ‘What a guy’.
The main story:
Rohit Sharma missed the opportunity to interact with The Great Khali despite being in the Indian squad for the Sri Lanka tour. He had traveled along with the team to Sri Lanka but had to return to the country once again for a fitness Test. However, the right handed genius took the opportunity to troll his fellow team mates who had the opportunity to meet the Punjabi giant.
Sharma took to Twitter to post a photo collage which had two pictures in it. The first one was a picture of Khali posing with team mates Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik pandya and Lokesh Rahul, while the second was of himself. It was not a simple picture but Rohit can be seen lifting the WWE Championship belt he and his team Mumbai Indians received from WWE Chief Operating Officer and former wrestler Triple H. ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ Triple H had gifted the victorious Mumbai Indian team with the belt for lifting the IPL trophy in its iconic 10th edition.
Rohit Sharma captioned the collage with a taunting caption stating that the boys tried well but the real deal is with him. His tweet read “Well tried fellas, but the belt is here”. Mumbai Indians had gifted current WWE Champion Jinder Mahal with a Mumbai Indian t shirt in reply to Triple H’s wonderful gesture.
