Veteran Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane turned 30 on June 6 this year. On his special day, the cricket fraternity came in pouring with their birthday wishes. From his role model Sachin Tendulkar to his wife Radhika Rahane, all his close friends posted updates for him on the day. Among his close friends is another Indian veteran cricketer, Rohit Sharma. Rohit took to micro blogging site Twitter to wish Ajinkya Rahane on his birthday.

He also shared the episode of What the Duck in which Rohit and Rahane were seen together. In the web show, hosted by Vikram Sathaye, the two cricketers had great fun. They had narrated their funny safari experience in South Africa where their wives were braver than them in front of the cheetahs. Also, the two cricketers had revealed how Ravindra Jadeja had almost put them in to serious trouble during the safari with his antics in front of the cheetahs. Taking a reference of the same, Rohit remarked that they should perhaps visit a Penguin park next time around.

Here is how Rohit Sharma wished Ajinkya Rahane:

“Happy birthday @ajinkyarahane88. They definitely are braver than we are. Instead of cheetahs, next time let’s go to a penguin park. Had a blast on #WhatTheDuck3 with @vikramsathaye. Watch the episode & tell me your favourite part,” Rohit Sharma wrote in his tweet.

Rahane comes up with a response

Ajinkya was quick to see the birthday wish. He thanked Rohit for his good wishes. Also, he gave his green signal for the Penguin park visit as their next outing. He suggested that they can visit the Penguin parks when India tours Australia later this year. Team India is scheduled to play against Australia in Australia in late 2018. The tour is already bagging a lot of attention on the social media.

“Ha ha Thanks a lot Rohit ! Yes let’s plan that during Australia tour later this year :)” Ajinkya Rahane wrote in his response to Rohit’s tweet.
