Indian left-arm pacer RP Singh has been trolled on social media for asking a hilarious question on firecrackers ban during Diwali festival. Earlier this week, the Supreme Court prohibited the sale of crackers in Delhi-NCR which spurred a raging debate amongst people on Twitter. While some welcomed the decision as it would save the environment from being polluted, few opposed strongly and felt only their festivals are always targeted and not Christmas or New Year.

The current and former cricketers like Yuvraj Singh and Aakash Chopra had also urged the people of the country to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali this year. But the messages from both of them fired back as their fans reminded them that bats are also made of trees. However, RP Singh seems to be one of those cricketers who are not at all pleased with the decision of the highest judiciary of India.

The doubt of RP Singh

The ousted Indian cricketer RP Singh asked a hilarious question on social media website Twitter only to get trolled back. He asked whether he can burn the old firecrackers which are already in his house. He tweeted, “ I have old crackers in my house. Can I burn those or that is also banned? #FireCrackersBan” But this didn’t go down well for many people and they replied the cricketer in the most hilarious ways.

One of the miffed users suggested him to burn the crackers in his own house and inhale the poisonous gases instead of polluting the environment. On the other hand, some of the people believed that burning firecrackers only on Diwali causes pollution and continued to express their frustration with the decision. It would be interesting to see though how many people, in reality, celebrate a green Diwali which is the way to go in order to stay in a pollution-free environment.
