Senior batter and former skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore Virat Kohli was seen doing dance moves on the filed before the match against Rajasthan Royals. The RCB players were gathered near the boundary line, as they were about to enter the field to start the proceedings.

Meanwhile, Kohli was caught doing some moves to lighten up everyone’s mood in the camp. He was joined by Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel, with the current RCB skipper Faf du Plessis also copying the same moves. Wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik, opener Anuj Rawat and overseas spinner Wanindu Hasaranga were also seen in the video.

RCB bowling first against Rajasthan Royals

Meanwhile, the Red Army is taking on the table-toppers Rajasthan Royals in a group stage match of IPL 2022, which is being played at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Skipper Faf du Plessis, after winning the toss, had no hesitation in choosing to bowl first. RCB did get some early success as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was sent back to the pavilion by pacer David Willey on 6/1 in 1.5 overs.

However, other opener Jos Butler and former RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal stitched a valuable partnership for the Royals. The duo added 70 runs for the second wicket before Padikkal (37 off 29 balls) was scalped by pacer Harshal Patel. To note, he was snaffled by Kohli who took a wonderful catch.

Rajasthan were 76/2 at the 10-over mark with RR skipper Sanju Samson joining the opening batter Butler. The duo will look to bat well and put up a competitive total for their side.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan have been in red-hot form in their previous two encounters. The Jaipur-based franchise has defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad and five-time champions Mumbai Indians. The Red Army, on the other hand, have won one out of the two matches they have played so far.

RCB were defeated by Punjab Kings in their tournament opener. However, they made a strong comeback in their previous match, beating the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets.
