Discarded Indian cricketer S Sreesanth underwent a tremendous physical transformation over the years since parting away from the sport and has developed a ‘Herculean’ physique, shattering his previous image of being a lean pace bowler. The 35-year-old is currently plying his trade as a contestant in the popular Indian reality show ‘Bigg Boss.’

Known for his aggression on the pitch, Sreesanth comes into the show as a reputed entry. There’s always this perception that the more you create drama, the more you get paid on the reality show. However, with the former Indian cricketer, it’s a different tale as despite being one of the most controversial celebrity contestants of this season, is supposedly the least paid among all.

According to reports doing the rounds on the internet, Indian singer and musician Anup Jalota gets paid about Rs 45 lakhs per week, actors Karanvir Bohra and Neha Pendse get about Rs 20 lakhs per week, while dancer turned actor Dipika Kakkar gets about Rs 15 lakhs. On the contrary, Sreesanth is being paid barely Rs 5 lakhs per week.

Sreesanth threatens to quit the show

Given the pay scale, it comes as no surprise why Sreesanth keeps threatening to quit the show. It reminds us of Rimi Sen from Bigg Boss 9 where she was considered to be the highest paid, yet she would urge to leave the show midway. But of course, as per the contract, no contestant can walk out of the show before getting eliminated or else, they’ll be fined on their paycheque.

Interestingly, word is that Anup Jalota might get evicted in the next two weeks considering he has his concert scheduled on October 27. Though it’s still unknown if his eviction will be scripted or is just another rumour but if at all that really happens then ‘Bigg Boss 12’ will once again witness some tricky eliminations.
