Heavy rain washed out play on Day 2 of the first Test match between South Africa and India at Centurion. Not even a single ball was bowled, as the rain gods played spoilsport.

However, fans got a snapshot of the lunch menu that the Indian side was supposed to have on Day 2 of the first Test. According to the snapshot, some of the items that the Indian players would be having for lunch are Chettinad chicken, broccoli soup, vegetable kadai and paneer tikka.

A Twitter handle by name Mufaddal Vohra posted the snapshot of the items that the Indian side will be having for lunch. You can see the tweet below.

India are in a commanding position in the 1st Test match

The Indian side is currently in the driver’s seat in the 1st Test match against the South African side. The Indian scorecard currently reads 272/3, and the batting talisman of the Indian side on Day 1 was KL Rahul.

The Indian opener batted through the whole of Day 1, and is still unbeaten on 122* off 248 deliveries. Rahul was the glue that held the Indian innings together. Apart from Rahul, opening batter Mayank Agarwal and senior batter Ajinkya Rahane also chipped in with useful contributions.

While Agarwal scored a 123-ball 60, Rahane is unbeaten on 40*. Lungi Ngidi was the only bowler who tasted success for the Proteas with the ball. The right-arm speedster took all 3 wickets to fall on the first day of the 1st Test match at Centurion.  While the weather is likely to remain clear on Day 3 and Day 4, rain might once again hamper proceedings on the final day of the 1st Test match.
