Sachin Tendulkar attends the 83rd Indian Air Force day parade: Dressed in an Indian Air Force uniform, Sachin Tendulkar attended the 83^rd Indian Air Force Annual Day Parade at Hindon air base near Ghaziabad. In the year 2010, Sachin Tendulkar became the first sportsperson in the country to be given an honorary rank in the Indian Air force.

In a brief interaction with journalists at the event, Sachin Tendulkar expressed his happiness about his association with Indian Air Force and also revealed that his son has a keen interest in joining the Air Force. Sachin Tendulkar also mentioned that his son, Arjun, is too young to give it a serious thought at this age. Sachin Tendulkar said, “He is too young to decide. But he is very interested in it.”

Sachin Tendulkar also said that he wanted to bring his son to the event but could not bring him along. “I wanted to get my son here today. He is very much interested in the air force.” Sachin added.

Later, Sachin Tendulkar posted pictures of the events on his Twitter page mentioning: “Proud of the dedication of the ‪#‎IndianAirForce. Every member plays the part to perfection. Thank you to each one of them for their commitment and many sacrifices.”.
