Sachin Tendulkar celebrates birthday with his childhood friend

The ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 45th birthday and even after retiring from the game a few years ago, a lot of people still admire him. The whole country is busy wishing him and is celebrating his birthday in different ways. It is no less than a festival for his die-hard fans as they still adore his technically perfect straight-drives and cover drives. While Sachin’s batting was famous throughout his career, his friendship with Vinod Kambli is also well known to the world and the master celebrated his birthday with him.

Sachin and Kambli hogged all the limelight when they created the world record by stitching a partnership of a whopping 664 runs together in school cricket. Both were tipped as the best players of the 1990s and soon were picked in the national side. As it turned out, Kambli faded away from the memories with time and the little master is still touted as one of the best players in the world. Nobody questioned their friendship during this period but Kambli himself had expressed his disappointment over Sachin forgetting him after getting all the success.

Kambli’s special wish

All was not well between the two a few years ago but things have only got better after that and the duo is frequently seen together at parties and functions. Vinod Kambli, on the occasion of his best friend’s birthday, had a special wish for him. He posted a video singing a song for the Master and hoped a long life and peace for him while wishing him on behalf of all his fans and his family as well. Kambli also posted an image of celebrating Sachin’s birthday with the man himself which proves that the friendship is still intact.

There is no doubt about the popularity of Sachin and a special wish from his childhood friend is surely heart-warming and it is needless to say that both are enjoying their post-retirement life. One would hope that the bond between continues to grow more and more.
