The wedding of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma was on the cards for some time now. However, the timing and the announcement of the wedding caught many a Virat fans by surprise. The huge fan-following of the couple have wished and blessed them with good luck.

While some Twitter users constantly tracked their travelling plans, to connect the dots of their marriage, others just failed to read the event from the beginning. The build-up to the wedding was nothing short of extravagant, with the couple only inviting very few people to the low-key event.

However, the guessing game of many on Twitter was on point, as the couple got married in Milan, Italy. Virushka, as the fans fondly call them got hitched today before they made the announcement official on Twitter.

A private wedding

The wedding ceremony was a private affair, while the reception is expected to be a grand one. The big names and other stars are supposed to attend the reception, which is rumoured to take place in the last week of December in New Delhi just before the Indian team leaves for the South Africa tour.

Sachin’s message for the couple

Sachin Tendulkar, who is so often called as the ‘god of cricket’ wished them a fun time ahead. The former right-handed batsman complimented the couple, who were seen in a hearty mood during one of their wedding rituals.
