Tendulkar’s father used to tell him in his childhood that no matter whichever field Sachin chose, ultimately in life all that matters are a person’s virtues.
Tendulkar’s brother introduced him to cricket
As far as Tendulkar’s initial journey is concerned, it was Ajit who introduced the master blaster to the game of the willow and cherry. It was also Sachin’s brother who introduced him to coach Ramakant Achrekar and always backed him throughout his journey on the 22 yards.
Tendulkar still fondly remembers all the guidance his father and brother gave him and those lessons have made him the man he is today. Tendulkar has not just won hearts for his feats on the cricket pitch but also for his virtues, for the down to earth and generous person that he is off the field.
