Sachin Tendulkar invites Jonty Rhodes and Yuvraj Singh to his place on Ganesh Chaturti

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi began yesterday grandly with people welcoming the Lord Ganesha with delight and enthusiasm. It is a common ritual to bring home ‘Bappa’ praying for love, peace and prosperity. People regardless of their caste or religion have been taking part in the festivals since the beginning of it.

Celebrities too don’t miss the opportunities to seek their deity’s blessings. One of them is cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who on Monday, welcomed the Lord at his place. Like a true Maharashtrian, Tendulkar celebrates this festival with gusto every year.

Two of the guests who were at his place yesterday were South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes and Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh. It was not surprising at all. Rhodes is currently in India while Yuvi is regular at Sachin’s place on important occasion. Sachin later a picture of Yuvraj Singh as the trio were seen worshipping the Lord Ganesha.

Sachin had initially put up a picture of Rhodes facing the Lord Ganesha and asked his fans to make a guess as to who he was. The tweet received a good response. The fans made their guesses and most of them were wrong.

But, a few found the funny side of it and began poking fun at Sachin Tendulkar. A couple said it was Vinod Kambli. A few others said it was Sourav Ganguly. They also had funny explanations behind their guesses. This tells one thing, no matter what you tweets, it the Tweeps decides to have fun then are surely going to be their subject of humour.
