Sachin Tendulkar wishes Harbhajan in Tamil; fans declare it as a national language

Both were part of the team which won the World Cup in 2011.

Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh have shared the dressing room for so many years and the camaraderie between them is always special. They have the utmost respect for each other which is always visible off the field as well nowadays. The latter is enjoying his 38th birthday today and is receiving the good wishes from all the corners of the cricketing world. However, the master blaster wished him in Tamil amazingly and tried to link his IPL connection on his birthday.

Bhajji played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) this year in the IPL who eventually won the title famously for the third time in the nine-year history of their existence. The veteran played a crucial role for them this season and is likely to continue playing for them next year as well despite the fact that the age is not on his side.

Master’s wish

Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh have been together in the IPL as well since the inaugural edition of the tournament. They have also won the ICC 2011 World Cup together which was the greatest triumph for the Men in Blue in the 21st century. Both of them were key to the fortunes of the team playing under the leadership of MS Dhoni and didn’t disappoint a bit throughout the tournament.

Sachin took to Twitter to wish the birthday boy and wished him in Tamil interestingly to recall the moments when he used to tweet in the same language after CSK’s victories in the IPL. It will be interesting to see if Bhajji also replies in the same way to him while thanking Sachin for his wishes.

The fans, however, loved a unique attempt from their cricketing God to wish one of the best off-spinners India has ever produced. Hilariously, they declared Tamil as a national language as well while some of them thanked the legendary cricketer for doing so.
