Sakshi Dhoni trolled for her dress; fans come to the rescue

Social media is a place where you get love and hate, you can be someone’s favourite and others despise you for the same thing. It is pretty much out of control for the celebrities with millions of followers there is nothing they can do about what people say. The only way they can stay immune is by not bother with what has been said. Sakshi Dhoni faced a similar situation after her Instagram posts from a wedding.
The pictures were from Poorna Patel’s wedding who is the daughter of former Indian Union Minister Praful Patel. Sakshi wore a beautiful dress and looked absolutely stunning but some trolls thought it was something that didn’t match the ideal demeanour and doesn’t justify who she was. They associated her identity being MS Dhoni’s wife and a mother.
The social media schooling went to the extent where people even suggested what she should wear and how it is important that she carries herself in a certain way. They think Dhoni shouldn’t allow her to wear a dress like the one she wore in the wedding. He is a “gentle, perfect” man, and his wife should be “perfect” like him other women can wear what they wish to but Mrs Dhoni has to be “sanskari.”

But with almost 2 million followers Sakshi has the right kind of fans as well who came to her rescue and made the trolls insignificant in no time.
This moral schooling and telling women what to wear what not to, to match their husband’s reputation and image is the sort of ‘bs’ our society needs to get over. The fact that they are public figures doesn’t give anyone the right to tell them what they should be doing. Let women decide what they wear and what they do. Let Dhoni and Sakshi decide what is best for them followers don’t have a right to question that or suggest them anything.
