Dhoni scored a fluent half century in the previous match but will need to do more than that to ensure a win for the team.

In Wagamama, Kensington one of the most loved families in the Indian cricketing circles the Dhonis – MS, Sakshi and young Ziva are enjoying their time together. The wife and daughter have travelled all the way to the United Kingdom where the father is representing the national team in the on-going battle of the champions of ODI cricket the Champions Trophy.

MS Dhoni right through his career had to stay away from his family being the captain he led his team around the world and when they were indeed in India he was still away leading his Indian Premier League teams. How much of a family life the former Indian skipper has missed can be understood by the fact that he was captaining Team India in the World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand when his daughter was born.

It was not before the end of their campaign that he got to see his little princess. Now that he has stepped down from captaincy, plays on the limited-overs formats Dhoni has a lot more time in hand and is making up for the years he spent away.

Sakshi posted the image on her Instagram profile and is very adorable for the expression the man has on his face.

Dhoni on the field

Even if he is off the field the Dhoni we’ve known over the years definitely suggests that he will be planning for the all-important clash against South Africa in his head. The winner of that game between the Men in Blue and the Proteas will advance ahead in the tournament and being the defending champs Team India will leave no stone unturned to win and march their way into the semi-finals.

Dhoni scored a pretty fluent half century in the last match and gave the innings an impetus towards the end after they struggled to get going in the middle phase losing some quick wickets. His half century took the team to the 320-run mark but that wasn’t enough as the Sri Lankans chased is down without much ado with 7 wickets in hand.
