Whenever we approach an India-Pakistan encounter in cricket, we get to see ace Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in the headlines. While on most occasions, we see fanatics questioning her loyalty when her husband Shoaib Malik takes the field for Pakistan against India, this time we saw a different reason for which the Hyderabad girl stole the show. And it is too adorable!

The soon-would-be-mother posted on social media a lovely tweet expressing how much she and the arriving member are missing Malik, who is now preparing for national duty in the United Arab Emirates where the 14th edition of the Asia Cup will begin on Saturday. Pakistan will take on Hong Kong in their first match of the tournament on September 16 while on September 19, they will take on arch-rivals India.

The ‘couple’ is missing Malik

The 31-year-old player, who has been on a break due to pregnancy, has remained active on social media where she engages with her fans and puts across her strong beliefs and viewpoints. In her latest post on the Twitter, Mirza’s focus was entirely on her family affairs and how the ‘couple’ were missing Malik. Mirza got married with Malik in April 2010.

“There are a ‘couple’ of us missing you here! Need a time machine @realshoaibmalik..real quick…! #fbf #nostalgia #beautifulface come back soon and maybe without the stubble,” Mirza said, also preferring how she would like to see her husband next time.

She also posted a video of her cutting a cake during her baby shower. Mirza’s parents and sister Anam were present on the occasion to make it special but Malik was missed there, too. There also, Mirza put up a caption saying she missed her husband though as a compassionate sportsperson, she said that duty comes first. She is expected to become a mother in October, a month before she turns 32.
