The penultimate game of the group stages of the Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) 2019 might not hold a lot of relevance for both Sorath Lions and the Gohilwad Gladiators. Whilst the Gladiators are already out of the tournament, the Lions are chasing an outside chance which might not turn out true even if they win their remaining games by a huge margin.

Despite having some decent young and experienced names, Gohilwad side failed to find a good rhythm this season. In a must-win game to stay alive in the tournament against Kutch Warriors, they got hammered and blown away. They are still hunting for their first points in the tournament.

The Lions are keen on delivering a good performance in the final game just to keep their hopes alive. The mathematics will only get complicated when they do their primary job well, which is to win the match. Some of their big performers like Dharmendrasinh Jadeja will have a crucial role to play in this fixture.
