The Perth Scorchers will take on the Hobart Hurricanes in the 47th encounter of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2020-21. Though their streak was broken by the Sydney Sixers’ 7-wicket win at Canberra, they got back to winning ways and are coming to this encounter after a spectacular 59-run win over Brisbane Heat.

On the other hand are Peter Handscomb’s men, who have lost as many as three of their last five encounters, but are coming to meet the Scorchers on the back of a clinical 6-wicket victory over Sydney Thunder. After returning from their national duties, Matthew Wade and Tim Paine have been added to the Hurricanes’ squad, whereas Mitchell Marsh will be back in action for the Scorchers.
