Shah Rukh Khan has a heartwarming message for KKR players after their loss to SRH

The IPL 11 is done with the qualifiers and we are just one game away from finding out the team of the season. The yellow army has made it to the final game yet another time while the orange army ended its losing streak to challenge CSK for their second title. The two-month extravaganza is coming to a close with the summit clash on Sunday.

The Chennai Super Kings defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 to make a direct entry into the finals. The Sunrisers had to battle it out against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the pressure game to finally end their losing streak and book tickets to Wankhede. The Knight Riders played good cricket at the start of the innings but faltered in the death overs while batting and bowling. Shah Rukh Khan was impressed with his team and thanked them for entertaining the fans throughout the tournament.

A team that exceeded expectations

Rashid Khan stole the show with the bat and ball. He provided the much-needed firepower in the end by scoring 34 runs and picked up crucial wickets to restrict KKR. The leg-spinner was also impressive on the field as he was involved in a runout and took three catches. The Knight Riders failed to convert their start and the senior players did not take up any responsibility in the chase.

At the start of the season, nobody expected KKR to do so well. Karthik must be very proud of his boys and they can take a lot of positives from this season. With a couple of new additions to the team, KKR can certainly become the team to beat in the next season.
