Shane Warne looked relaxed in final photograph before death

The sudden demise of Australian great Shane Warne has been and continuous be a talking point in the cricket circle. Arguably the greatest leg-spinner to have graced the game of cricket, Warne breathed his last on March 4 in his Thailand villa. Aged 52, the former Rajasthan Royals captain passed away due to a suspected heart attack, leaving the entire cricket world in shocked.

His friends in Thailand also couldn’t believe the happening either. As per reports, the heart attack was sudden as the legendary leg-spinner looked fine hours before his demise. His pictures caught in the CCTV camera suggest the same. The final images of Warne before the tragic incident show the Australian great is relaxed as he walked through his luxurious Thailand villa.

His final steps of walking through the lobby were caught in the CCTV camera where Warne can be seen sporting a casual look – a white T-shirt, black shorts and a cap. Notably, several new shirts draped over his arm. As per Fox Sports, Warne spent almost an hour at the Briony Tailor where he was fitted for new suits. Hours later, Warne was found unresponsive on his bed following a heart attack.

Meanwhile, Warne’s family have revealed that the former cricketer had been suffering from heart problems and was on a 14-day liquid diet, leading up to his death. The local police confirmed that Warne’s body will be taken to Australia as his public memorial will be held on March 30.

With Warne such a prominent figure in the cricket arena, condolence wishes and tributes poured in from different corners. While former Australian captain Ricky Ponting broke down on live TV while speaking about Warne, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja remembered him after bringing up a hundred in the recently-concluded first Test against Sri Lanka.

Speaking of Warne’s brilliance, his tally of 1001 international wickets is only second to Muttiah Muralitharan’s 1347. Besides his on-field success, Warne was also a successful commentator and coach.
